SpinTactica Privacy Policy
SpinTactica ("the game") is developed and published by RiceTech LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game handles, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the game, we don't run ads, we don't sell your data, and you can delete your account and data from inside the game at any time.
Information we collect
- Game progress ("cloud save"). Your collection, teams, campaign progress, currencies, and settings are saved to our servers so your progress can sync across devices and survive reinstalls.
- Account information. When you first play, the game creates an anonymous account identified by a random ID. If you choose to link an email address (or, when available, an Apple or Google sign-in), we store that email/identifier so you can recover your save on a new device.
- Purchase records. If you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment card details. We receive a receipt/transaction record so we can deliver what you bought and restore purchases.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, advertising identifiers, or browsing history, and the game contains no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use information
- To save and sync your game progress across your devices.
- To let you sign in and recover your account (a one-time sign-in code is emailed to you when you link or sign in with an email address).
- To deliver, restore, and support in-app purchases.
- To respond when you contact support.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to operate the game, each of which processes data only on our behalf:
- Supabase - hosts our database and authentication (your account and cloud save).
- Resend - delivers account emails such as sign-in codes.
- Apple App Store / Google Play - process all payments.
- RevenueCat - manages in-app purchase receipts and entitlements.
Data retention & deletion
Your account and cloud save are kept for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account inside the game; this removes your account, its cloud save, and the device's local progress. If you need help, or want deletion handled manually, email us and we'll take care of it.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and server-side access rules restrict each account's data to that account.
Children
SpinTactica is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the account email a player chooses to link; playing as a guest requires no personal information at all. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. The in-game deletion tool covers most of these; for anything else, email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be called out in the game or by email.
